DONATION POLICY

1) Seniors adopted during the year

Beginning January 1, 2001, we will donate a product (usually either a Snuggler™ or a Terry Tog™)  to any senior Greyhound, 10 years or older at the time of adoption, who is adopted during the year.  To qualify, you must make your request by emailing us at suzanne@suzieqdesigns.com and fax us (404-252-6253) a copy of your adoption agreement.  The adoption agreement should show the date of adoption as well as the birth date of your greyhound.  Then you must follow the steps in How to Order .  Please give us three choices of fabric, and we will try our best to fulfill your first fabric choice.  

Please do NOT write a letter and mail it to us.  For some reason (if you could see our desks, you'd understand :-), we continually lose mailed-letter requests.  By emailing us, we can always retrieve your request from our saved emails. 

Due to selling our business (our real job, not SuzieQ's) we are extremely behind in filling our donations to those qualified seniors adopted this year.  If you have not provided us with all the information we need to fill your request, please do so now.  
If all goes well, you will receive your requested item in time for cold weather.  We will contact you before we mail your item.

We would love to put a picture of your precious pup dressed in his/her donated SuzieQ product on our website under our Donation List.  Just email your picture to us.

2) Adoption/rescue group fund-raising efforts

A ONE-TIME donation of any product will be made to any Greyhound adoption/rescue group who makes a request for their fund-raising efforts.  To qualify, you must make your request by emailing us at  suzanne@suzieqdesigns.com, stating which item you would like, what size you would like, etc.

If you would like a Snuggler™, you must give us three choices of fabrics; and we will try our best to fulfill your first fabric choice.  If you would like a Terry Tog™, you must give us three choices of color and let us know what type trim you want - stately or cute.  For these two items, we recommend you choose a large as that will fit the big females and average males, thus making your target audience larger.

3) Cash donations

Though we don't expect much profit after our costs, product donations, and taxes, we will certainly entertain any request for cash donations from any 501(c)(3) Greyhound adoption/rescue group. To qualify you must make your request by emailing us at suzanne@suzieqdesigns.com and provide us documentation of your 501(c)(3) status (your Federal Identification Number is not sufficient, but a copy of your IRS Determination Letter would suffice).

NOTE :  These policies are subject to change, so please be sure that you are making your request under the latest guidelines and that you provide all the information requested.
